Welcome to summer vacation.

Your cousin, Oyster, had her tonsils and adenoids out the day after her last classes at school, two weeks ago, and she is just now being allowed to get out.

What, other than Disney World are you planning for the summer?

Well, she can now spend time outdoors. School was out two weeks ago. She's attending a "sewing camp" right now. It goes for four days this week, and they're supposed to make a project each day. She seems pleased with it.

So she's gonna be a sewer

I think she prefers the term, "seamstress." And the teacher is pleased with the progress of the class. If they had been slow learners, they would have accomplished one project per day, so that is what is advertised. However, this class is picking it up quickly, so they have done more.

In the first three days they made a pair of shorts, a pin cushion, a belt, a tote bag, a rag quilt big enough to cover them, and a flower to decorate a hair barrette or the tote. Oyster chose to attach hers to the tote. I'm not sure what she will accomplish today.

But surgery was May 28 and the doctor said she was fully recovered and able to resume normal activities on June 14.

She's doing great she's already walking so thats good. She'd planning to go back to work on Friday. She had the surgery for her gall baldder removed. And they took pictures of it too. I saw them and they weren't pretty, but it was pretty cool! Maybe we can bring pictures and can show you! But, then again it might not be as cool to you as it was to me and L. Daggs thought it was disgusting but he's a softy.

Today I played three soccer games! For the Flame Fest tournament. The first game we tied 1-1. The second game we won 9-0. The third game we lost 6-0. We didn't make it to tomorrow but it isn't really my falt.

WEll, Taz, you seem to be the primary communicator in your family, so I'll ask you the following questions:

1) Was your mom't surgery planned or did this come up as an emergency procedure?

2) Does this change your vacation plans for the summer?

3) Are you planning to come here anytime soon?

Please, give your mom my best wishes for a speedy recovery, and tell her to take really good care of herself and take it easy.

Love you.

1) sort of both about a week before her stomach was really hurting, she could barely walk, and she was breathing heavy so granny took her to the hospital.(if you were wondering daggs was in illinois)

2) We don't know.

3) Maybe we might visit for the fourth of july but again it depends how she feels. If we don't come for the 4th of july we are probably gonna come after we go to Disney World. But daggs will call you about that.
