More Drama

So a couple of weeks ago I was bouncing around from person to person say hi and chatting a little bit so then I saw Logan and she looked sad so I go over there.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm angry." Logan says.
"At who?" I asked.
"At Meghan." She replied.
So I go over to Zakiyah and she's talking to Meghan, Amanda, Briona, Allyssa, Scarlet, and Morayna about what was Logan so then Zakiyah goes over there and asks Logan why she's mad. So she brings something up that happened in 3rd grade. So then she goes back over and tells them.
"I don't like Logan." Allyssa said. And then they start yelling about Logan. So then Crista, Camry, and Halie come over and start talking to Zakiyah about the problem.

Two weeks later
So it's two weeks later (today) and I go and talk to Crista, Morgan, and Camry.
"Where's Halie?" Crista asks.
"I don't know." Morgan says.
So then I go bouncing around to people again and I thought I saw Halie and Morayna but it turns out to be Logan and Morayna. So I sit down on the bench with them and there talking about the problem.
"When's Halie suppose to be here?" Morayna asked.
"Soon." Logan said.
She was right because Halie, Crista, Morgan, and Camry showed up a few seconds later.
"Why is Morgan here?" Morayna asked.
"They are usually together, it's like a package." I said. So then Crista starts asking Logan these questions.
"Soon enough Zakiyah and Scarlet come over here and just start talking to them. So then Briona, Meghan, and Amanda come over here. I walked away so I didn't know what happened. The I go back over there and I see Logan and those people walking away.
"She said I didn't tell you to bring those things over here." Briona said.
"I don't care about her." Meghan said. They start talking about Logan so I go over to Crista and everyone else. Crista asks Logan more questions. So then Zakiyah comes over here and talks with them. Then Briona and other people come over here. So Logan and people walk on to the field.
"What were they talking about?" Briona asks Zakiyah.
"Nothing." Zakiyah says.
"I don't believe you!" Meghan says.
"Nothing-"
"I know that face your lying." Amanda says.
"Fine Crista was just asking Logan stuff." Zakiyah says. Everyone starts yelling again.
"She was really just asking her questions!" I yell. no one listens so I walk back over to Crista and people. But Crista and Halie stopped me.
"Are you spying on them?" Crista asks.
" No I was going to tell you what they were saying." I said. I didn't really plan on spying or telling them what they said. But It just came out.
"They wanted to know what you were saying to Logan." I told the Logan and the group of girls. But then Morayna comes over here (spying of course).
"Why did you let her in but not me?" She asked.
"Because you're spying on us." Halie says.
"Well she's been on Briona's side since the beginning." She accused me.
"No I haven't." I said (I wasn't on anyone's side really).
"No she isn't!" Logan and a couple other girls said.
"What did she tell you!" Morayna said.
"Nothing yet." Crista said. Then Morayana walks away I followed her and started talking to her until she got over to Briona and them. She told what happened (including me).
"I didn't do anything!" I said. They started yelling about Logan again.
"I want to fix this." Zakiyah said.
"Why can't you understand that we don't like her." Meghan said.
"They're telling the teacher." I said. The whistle blew and recess was over. On the way over me and Scarlet talk about how we had nothing to do with this. So I go inside the classroom wanting nothing to with this. So then we start a quiz and then Mr. Greenwell (the assistant principal) asks for me. I get up not knowing what to expect.
"Go join the group." I turn and I see Logan, Kennadi, Briona, Zakiyah, Amanda, Crista, Halie, Camry, Meghan, and Morayna. I was stunned.
"Who got me into this?" I ask. A few girls start to giggle.
"Come make a circle over here." Mr. Greenwell says and we all sit down in a circle in the middle of a hallway. He tells about different things. Not really interested about what happened. More about what we shouldn't do (including a few jokes). At the end when we went back into the class room.
"I still don't like-" Logan said. I didn't here the rest because I was already in my classroom.
The funny thing is I usually don't hang around those people except for Crista, Halie, Camry, and Morgan.
That was the end (I think)

Sorry, sweetie, but it's never the end. This kind of drama just goes 'round and 'round like a vicious circle. Hard experience has taught me to just walk away when the whispering and "I don't like so-and-so" talk starts. Then I just do my very best to steer clear. When someone tries to get me to choose sides I tell them, "I don't like to choose sides; I'd rather try and find a way to nice to everybody. And when I can't be nice, I try to be quiet."

It doesn't always work. Mostly because the hard part is keeping my own mouth shut and not chiming in--especially when I really do like one person better than another. Still, I'd rather TRY and be nice than have to apologize and explain later all the things I said.

Good luck with the girl drama. Just remeber that as long as there are girls, there will be girl drama in your life.

Now, time to work on spelling and punctuation!

This blog post has LOTS of great build up. And the pacing is really good, too! BUT you need to start paying more attention to how and when to use punctuation to help tell the story.

And I bet that if you take just a little more time to read over your posts you'll find that you can put your vocabulary to fuller use. Don't limit the words you write to just the words you use everyday when talking to friends. Each of us knows many more words than we actually use when talking. Make sure you're using all those vocabulary words you're learning in school to help you write and avoid repetition.

Any interest in a thesaurus for Christmas?

Love and kisses and thanks for posting!!!!

Yea, Goo gets to be the villain, not me. Yea, Goo! But is "fuller" a word?

And, oh dear Lord, I miss names like Betty, Patsy, Jane, Sue, etc.

Well, that was an action packed blog. Poor Mr. Greenwell, not ever having been a girl he doesn't understand the underlying nuttiness of the whole thing. He's doing his best though. And as Goo says (though I'm paraphrasing and extemporizing a bit, some females never outgrow this period in their lives. Hopefully, you will outgrow it. Which suggests that developing some nice friendships with males helps in this regard. Not talking about "boy friends", just friendships.

Well, good luck with your saga. Hope a good bit of this was fiction in which case I think you're getting the hang of storytelling.

Love you.

Yes, Lit, "fuller" is a word; one which is superceded by "fullest". Certainly "more" and "most" may both be used to modify "full", but "fullest" is well within the established lexicon which manages to convey not only increased breadth, but also increased depth.

I love language, but not as much as I love the people who taught me to use it well. Thanks, Lit!

Well, Taz, it's the first lesson in learning that you are partly responsible when you hang with a certain group of people. Therefore, you have to answer along with them. What this is all about, I still don't understand, but maybe you don't know either. Sometimes it's better just to shake your head and walk away. But, too late right now.

There are times in life when we just have to give up the illusion of our own self importance. Each of us is a very small piece in the picture puzzle of the world in our own time; we have a part to play. But if we are left out for some reason the big picture is still visible and understandable. Each of us is not that important unless we come with a revolutionary message or action. The peacemaker is always the biggest target because he/she doesn't take a side. Jesus is a good example of that. Strange that so many people declare that they are Christians, then take a side against others.

Stay out of the girl wars! You'll only get yourself pinned into one camp or another. Be your own person.

Love you.

Well I don't know what it's about but I'm not in it anymore. So it's not to late. And the people I hang out with never get's into trouble.

That story was so long (and detailed), I bet you could possibly write it into a short book!!
