So during the summer I read a little bit of Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer I got to the second chapter then I took a longer break than I meant to. So now I'm back to reading it and having a little trouble under standing what the characters are saying. I'm not really used to people/characters talking like that. So I might ask what some the words mean in later posts.
Anyways we tried to give the kittens away today we managed to get rid of one of them. It's kind of hard to get rid of the other two though, because we tried to give them away at Albertsons and they kicked my dad and I off. Then we tried the Humane society and they said 'we don't have enough room.'

Yeah, Taz, the grammar of Mark Twain is different from today, but once you get into the swing of it, you'll find some really wonderful truths about life. Stick with it.
About the kittens: I'm still giving that some thought. You're working hard, and I appreciate that. It's not easy.
Cosmo had kittens? I didn't know! I'd love to see some pictures.
You're right, Mark Twain takes some work. Reading in a dialect is something I always find difficult. Sometimes, I think the easiest thing to do is to read it aloud that way I can hear what the characters are saying. It doesn't always work, but it usually gets me on the right track.
Right now I'm reading Sinclair Lewis' "It Can't Happen Here". I wasn't a big fan of Mr. Lewis' writing when I was in school, but these days I'm truly enjoying it.
Love!
Goo-Tigerlily had kittens. If you look at older posts I've talked about her. Cosmos is too old to have kittens she's 63.
Oh, Tigerlily! I remember you mentioning her, but it's been so long ago...
I'd still like to see pictures. (Hint, hint.)
I watched a documentary on PBS the other night. It was about a soccer league of men over 40 years old. The name of the documentary is "The Golden Age" and it is from Voces, season 2. I think you and Dagromm would really enjoy it. Super cool. See if KERA is showing it.

Hey, Taz, I talked to your dad last night, and he informed me that all the kittens have found homes, and I am so glad for that. It's hard on the mom at first, but she will adapt and if you get her "fixed", she won't have to endure parenting again or the loss of babies. The loss is the hardest part, and the finding of homes for the babies is the hardest part for your family. Congratulations on finding TigerLilly's progeny new homes.
Love you.
Yeah, we gave them new homes. Except Tigerlilly might be having more babies.
AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!!!
