School Play

Okay last night I had my school play and yes I was in it. Anyways we were practicing all week and twice a day on Wednesday and on Thursday. It was called 'We the people' the play was about how America's constitution was established. I was speaker 13, YEA!! Here was my scene: ps. before I start the moderator ( Emily) is calling out states so I'm just going to go from where she calls Rhode Island. Here is my scene 'Rhode Island. Rhode Island!! Speak up where is the delegate for Rhode Island.' (My turn!!) 'There are no representatives present for the state of Rhode Island, mam.' (Emily's turn again) 'And why is that?" (back to me) 'I believe mam, that the state of Rhode Island has refused and abstained to bring representatives to the convention in protest."
Sorry I don't remember Emily's line even though we did it again in front of the whole school. Anyways the narrator comes out and says his lines and the the singers come up and sing American Solute. I don't remember all of the play except for the boy who played Benjamen Franklin, who's costume was funny. And Dollie and Martha's part. Then we all had to sing a little bit, but you won't be surprised to here Daggs and L made funny faces at me during the whole time I was singing, so I started laughing. There was one song where we had to get off of the stands and walk around the crowd. That's about all I remember except for today when most people weren't here and I forgot my part for a little bit. Plus since some of the people weren't here we had to cover or the music teacher would say there part instead.
Anyways that IS all I remembered, sorry I made you think I was closing this most then writing more stuff, like now. No more rambling until the next post. BYE!!=D

Well, I'm thrilled by the patriotism of your project/play. But I'm also terribly confused. Perhaps you will explain it to me over Thanksgiving.

When you represented Rhode Island did you wear a costume too? Was it as odd as Benjamin Franklin's? Just asking?

Have you ever watched the musical "1776'? It is terrific; I think you and L and even Daggs would enjoy it. Even your mom. Should I check Blockbuster to see if it is available? (I thought I had it, but I've checked all the shelves and don't find it.)

Can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving.

Love you.

I did not wear a costume (unless you count wearing a hat and a blue shirt no)Benjamin Franklin's costume was WAYY odder. I have not seen the musical "17776" and you can check Blockbuster if you want to.
